About

“Passionate about motorcycles and inspired by adventure. Always seeking new opportunities for travel and meeting fellow two-wheeled enthusiasts. I have been involved in the vintage motorcycle community for several years, often touring several thousand miles to attend weekend races and rallies. This past year, I have had several articles published in the BMW ON magazine, lending a unique voice as a woman in the vintage motorcycle scene.

My summer 2008 project was to restore my 1972 BMW R75/5 and head to Europe to explore the diverse, and exciting race and rally culture. I had the amazing good luck to attend the MotoGP at Assen and Sachsenring, the BMW Days at Garmisch Partenkirchen, World Superbike at Brno, tour the Ducati Factory and Museum, and many other truly life changing adventures!

These experiences were featured in the BMW MOA media, Classic Bike, Moto Revue Classic, BMW MO, and my own independent website (TheVintageAdvantage.com) and submitted to several other sites, as well.

My love of sharing this unconventional “life on the road” has inspired me to pursue the stories, as opposed to being the story- and I am now trying my hand at freelance photography and dabbling in a bit more writing. I am bored to tears by regurgitated press releases, drier than a sack of saltines- and I try to interject a little “storytelling” into basic pieces…Well, at least I think so.

Chasing these bikes; and this community,  has resigned me to a life of wandering and Ramen noodle eating- But, I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Cheers!
